Mary-Jane Davids is one of our learners who took part in our learnership programs and is currently an employee at Initium Venture Solutions.
“I began my career in 2015 as a customer service agent. I became a mother shortly before the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in a global lockdown. Everything from that point on just spiralled down. I lost my Job, and my mother became ill not to mention having a new-born baby.
I have held several contract jobs with various companies, but none of those resulted in a permanent position. So, the search never stopped, applied for jobs and Learnership opportunities. That is where I came across an advert from Initium Venture Solutions for a Systems support NQF 5 learnership sponsored by Nashua and I applied.
I got accepted for the programme and did very well to the extent that I got called back to join in on another programme, this time for a New Venture Creations NQF 4 programme.
I am now an employee at Initium Venture Solution as an Administrator. I can certainly say without a doubt that the company promotes growth. I am currently pursuing my studies in HR which I feel will greatly contribute to the growth of the Business.”
Mary-Jane describes herself as a go-getter and would not allow any obstacle to deter her. We are excited to be part of Mary-Jane’s success story, and we look forward to smashing more goals in the future.
